Job Description:

Our client are looking for Nurses with CAMHS experience for a Hospital in Stafford who work closely with local and national CAMHS services to provide a rapid, responsive and flexible service that meets the needs of young people with often challenging presentations. The hospital delivers three main services; General CAMHS and Acute Assessment Service, Eating Disorders (for children and young people) and a Psychiatric Intensive Care service. The hospital has gained a reputation as a leading provider of CAMHS and eating disorder services for young people in the Midlands.As an experienced Nurse you will be responsible for the delivery of high standards of resident/patient care, active participation in the rehabilitation programme and effective management of the Rehabilitation Assistants. Key Accountabilities:- Provide clinical leadership & supervision for the rehabilitation staff and students and participate in the induction and training of all new staff on the unit. - Supervise and monitor standards of care and take appropriate action to improve standards when required. - Ensure all clinical documentation is well maintained and filed in the appropriate places. - Work collaboratively with the team through effective leadership and motivational skills. - Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for residents/patients from admission to discharge - Function as named nurse to allocated residents/patients and ensure involvement in all aspects of the rehabilitation programme including writing of multidisciplinary team reports & attending case reviews , ensuring all relevant codes of practice are upheld.Skills / Experience: - RGN – HNDU (min 6 months) - RMN – TBIRU (min 6 months) - Experience in one of the following areas: Brain Injury, Acute Psychiatry,  Forensic Medicine, Rehabilitation, Physical Disability - Ability to communicate to high standard at all levels - Good organisational skills - Working knowledge of the principles of Clinical Governance - Up-to-date knowledge of safe control and handling of drugs For more information please call Rachael Lindo on (Apply online only)
