Job Title :Senior HR Location: CambridgePay: £26-28 per hourAssignment Length: 12 Month Contract/ 8.30am to 5.30pmMy client is one of the largest biotechnology companies bringing state-of-the-art medicines from laboratory to the patients. They are looking for a senior associate to join their Human Resources team in their Cambridge office. The role: This role is responsible for the operational support and continuous development of HR policies and practices across the assigned client groups. The successful candidate will lead local HR programs ensuring their effective communication and employee engagement and lead and participate in both local and European projects. The role reports into the Human Resources Business Partner based in the UK. Responsibilities include: * Leads local HR processes such as orientation, employee policy meetings , flex benefits up-dates * Implements international and local HR policies and procedures * Manages day-to-day relationship with external suppliers/vendors * Facilitates communication between individuals and departments/business units * Manages personnel files, changes to contracts of employment and local correspondence * Supports local hire and on-boarding paperwork * Implements local processes and maintains them * Reviews and analyses pay data to resolve or escalate discrepancies as appropriate * Deals with auditor and inspection queries * Continuously reviews and proposes improvements to local processes and ways of working Basic qualifications: * University Degree: HR, Business or similar * Demonstrated experience in a similar role * Knowledge of recruitment, communication, training process * Fluency in English, both in oral and written communication * Computer skills - Microsoft office (advanced excel) * Service minded attitude, pro-active in resolving issues or identifying improvements * Project coordination and data analysis skills * CIPD qualified or nearing completion * Good working knowledge of employment law and best practice * Experience with HR systems *There is local travel between sites and some European travelJob Requirements * University Degree: HR, Business or similar* Demonstrated experience in a similar role* Knowledge of recruitment, communication, training process* Fluency in English, both in oral and written communication Computer skills - Microsoft office (advanced excel)* Service minded attitude, pro-active in resolving issues or identifying improvements* Project coordination and data analysis skills* CIPD qualified or nearing completion* Good working knowledge of employment law and best practice* Experience with HR systems
