Are you a Registered Mental Health Nurse with an up-to-date NMC pin?We have a fantastic opportunity to join a committed and passionate team in a Locked Rehabilitation Service, that provides assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for up to 20 women with personality disorders. The service places the care of its service users as the utter most priority and promotes recovery and independence through comprehensive programmes created to meet recreational, educational, psychological and emotional needs by combining activities, treatments and interventions. You'll be joining a team full of high morale which is well supported by the Head of Care, the Hospital Manager, the Consultant Psychiatrist and the wider multi-disciplinary team. You will be a vital component in maintaining the standards and success of the facility and the care it provides. Your contribution will be valued and the team will support and encourage you to acheive your maximum potential.This is a permenant role for a full time position.Salary is from £34,944 per Annum.Additional to your pay you are offered an excellent range of benefits:--Company pension-5.6 Weeks annual leave-Cycle to work scheme-Child care vouchers-Help and support with revalidation of NMC pin -Continuous Professional Development Plan-Discount scheme with major retailers-Colleague referral scheme-Long service and recognition awardsAs part of your role you will be expected to:--Assist in the delivery of high quality care in a safe and therapeutic environment.-Actively provide support and supervision to junior staff, Nurses, Support Workers and Students throughout their development.-Co-ordinate assessments, care plans and develop risk management programmes for service users.-Actively implement and evaluate the programmes of service users ensuring the requirements of the Care Programme Approach are met.-Administer prescribed medicines and document the same in accordance with their procedure and Healthcare Commission guidelines.-Reporting ill health amongst patients and making requests for GP/professional visits where necessary.-Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.-Show strong organisation and planning skills, displaying outstanding time management.To apply for this role you must have:--Knowledge of the NMC Code of Conduct-In depth knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983-Show knowledge of PSI-Previous experience in a forensic or secured environmentThis is a great opportunity for an RMN looking to not only provide an excellent standard of compassionate care to improve the lifestyle of the service users but to also develop and excel in their own career in a supportive and well established culture.
